Specifically designed for "in the round" performances, The Rialto Room offers ideal acoustics within an intimate setting. Capacity ranges from 100 - 325 people depending on the show. The Rialto Room opens its doors for a limited number of nights per year.

The hotel was designed to reflect the unique character of its location in Athens, Georgia-–architects Surber Barber Choate Hertlein shaped the building to be reminiscent of the region’s covered bridges, Ellen Hanson Designs of New York gave the interiors a mix of “southern farmstead modern”, and Mercury Art Works of Athens added local artwork throughout the hotel. A joint venture development with Melaver, Inc. of Savannah, Hotel Indigo Athens was also made possible by JM Wilkerson Construction and with financing from BB&T and Rialto Hospitality Investment Group.
